Contact Attachments is celebrating success after providing a specialist supplier of suspension springs with a simple solution to streamlining processes.
The Mid Wales-based forklift company manufacturers a variety of forklift jibs and most recently supplied its High Lift model to Springcoil Ltd, allowing it to increase the working height of its forklift truck by two metres.
Springcoil Ltd called upon the High Lift jib so that it could transform its forklift truck into a crane and allow its staff to work safely at height for specialist applications, such as removing the fitting wheels to its dedicated grinding machine.
Keith Grimshaw, Managing Director at Springcoil Ltd, explained: "We were extremely keen to streamline some of our processes at our warehouse, and needed to be able to use the forklift for a variety of purposes. We're really pleased with the High Lift jib we received from Contact Attachments - it came exactly as described, and has sped up many of our everyday tasks and processes. We would recommend their products to others who may need quick conversion of their own forklift trucks, and will certainly approach them again in the future."
Manufactured to the highest quality and CE marked to meet the latest health and safety regulations, Contact Attachments' High Lift crane jib eases the process of stacking and un-stacking products, and offers the highest reach from its wide range of products available. The jib is secured directly on the carriage of the forklift truck, enabling quick conversion from a truck to a crane.
David Manuel, Technical Sales at Contact Attachments, added: "The product is ideal for anyone looking to convert their forklift truck into a crane quickly and easily. It comes with a wide back plate to offer stability and help reduce load swings, as well as a hook and shackle as standard. We are thrilled to have supplied the product to Springcoil Ltd, and very much look forward to working with them in the future."
The High Lift jib comes with a fixed beam length of 1800mm and six different lifting location points to provide enhanced versatility, as well as the capacity to handle a range of loads which allow users to operate it within the lifting limits of their forklift trucks.
