Why use forklift wheelie bin handler ?

Wheelie bins are an ever popular choice for waste receptacles in the working environment. While their lightweight mobile design can make positioning and moving over short distances easier, it is often difficult to dispense the contents into a larger waste container ready for collection.

A forklift wheelie bin handler allows these bins to be picked up and emptied through use of a forklift truck quickly, safely and efficiently with little manual intervention.

What type of forklift wheelie bin handlers are there ?

We produce three different types of wheelie bin lifters for forklift trucks. Two models differentiated by the size of the wheelie bin being handled, one for 90-240 litre wheelie bins and one for 660+ litre wheelie bins and the third model allowing the wheelie bins to be rotated in a controlled manner.

Which forklift wheelie bin handler would best suit my application?

If you are handling the small domestic wheelie bins ranging from 90 to 240 litre capacity, then the FM-WBH model of forklift wheelie bin lifter would be best suited. This forklift wheelie bin handler, utilising a manual winch mechanism allows the wheelie bin to the lifted and emptied into the waste container as required.

If you are handling the larger 600 to 1100 litre wheelie bins, then the WBH-1100L model of forklift wheelie bin handler would be best suited. With no manual involvement required,  this forklift wheelie bin tipper picks up the wheelie bins and simply pivots and tips the bins contents over the side and into the waste container.

Should you wish to maximise the filling capacity of the waste container or you are unable to utilise the side of the container to pivot the wheelie bin over, then our forklift wheelie bin rotator model would be best suited. This forklift wheelie bin handler comes with a high quality gear box connected to either a crank handle or loop chain, allowing safe, controlled and independent forward rotation of the wheelie bin

Will the forklift snow plough fit my forklift truck?

 All our wheelie bin handlers for fork lifts  are fork mounted (meaning they simply slip onto the forks of the forklift). The fork pockets on the forklift wheelie bin handlers are designed to accept a forklift fork up to 145mm wide x 45mm thick (larger pockets can be supplied if your forklift truck forks are larger than this).
