Why use a forklift hook attachment ?

Fork Mounted Hook Attachments offer a convenient and simple way to convert your forklift truck into a mobile crane.  With simple securing to the forklift forks of the forklift, the fork mounted hook attachment  can be fastened to the forklift fork blade at the most appropriate distance. All forklift fork mounted hooks come supplied with lifting hook and shackle 

What are the Health & Safety Requirements ?

Capacity of the forklift fork mounted hook attachment that is to be fitted to the forklift truck must not exceed that of the lifting capacity of the forklift truck at the required load centre (If in doubt consult with your forklift truck supplier)

All our forklift fork mounted hooks come 'CE' marked and supplied with Certificate of Conformity, full technical rating details, and set of operating instructions.

 How can I check that my forklift truck is compatible?

Do not exceed the capacity of the forklift truck when choosing your forklift fork mounted hooks. Our forklift fork mounted hooks are available in capacities from 1 tonne up to 5 tonne (larger models are available on request)

The fork entry pockets on our forklift fork mounted hooks are designed as standard to accept the following forklift fork sizes:

• Model Ref: FMHA-1.0 (1000kgs SWL) suits 140mm wide x 50mm thick forks
• Model Ref: FMHA-2.0 (2000kgs SWL) suits 140mm wide x 50mm thick forks
•  Model Ref: FMHA-3.0 (3000kgs SWL) suits 140mm wide x 50mm thick forks
• Model Ref: FMHA-4.0 (4000kgs SWL) suits 150mm wide x 60mm thick forks
• Model Ref: FMHA-5.0 (5000kgs SWL) suits 150mm wide x 60mm thick forks

Should the size of the forklift forks on your forklift be larger than specified above for the required model, a “Big Pocket” fork mounted hook is available which is designed to accept upto 180mm wide x 90mm thick forklift forks .

The fork pocket spread (distance from the outside of the one pocket to the outside of the other) on our forklift fork mounted hooks  are set apart by the following measurements :

 Please ensure the forks on your forklift truck can be positioned apart at this distance (Please consult our sales office should the forks on your forklift truck not be able to be positioned at this distance apart)
