Why use forklift fork protection sleeves ?

Our forklift fork protection sleeves offer a effective method of preventing product marking when handling goods with bare steel forks.  These fork covers simply slip over the existing forklift forks and in doing so eliminate the steel on steel contact that can occur when using forklift forks for handling products. Once fitted to the forklift forks, our fork protection sleeves will also give spark proof properties, essential when working in certain hazardous environments.

What are the Health & Safety Requirements ?

All our forklift  fork protection covers come  CE’ marked and supplied with Certificate of Conformity, full technical rating details, and set of operating instructions.

What are the fork protection sleeves made of  ?

Our protective sleeves for forks are made from 8mm thick steel pressing with additional 5mm thick internal packer plates. The fork sleeves are coated with 3mm thick Polyurethane coating, leaving a long last durable sleeve designed to protect your product when handled with forklift forks.  

 How can I check that my forklift truck is compatible?

When purchasing our forklift protective sleeves, as long as we are advised of the length x width x thickness of your original forklift fork, we can then supply a protective sleeves to suit.

Can the fork protection sleeves be made anti-slip?

Yes, we can supply our fork protection sleeves with an anti-slip covering. These anti-slip fork covers are our standard fork protection sleeve but with rubber crumb sprinkled into the Polyurethane. This rubber crumb will then help produce anti-slip characteristics to the forklift fork covers
