Will the battery changer beam  fit my forklift ?

All our forklift battery changing beams for forklifts are designed to fit onto the forks of conventional fork trucks. The main things to check when ordering a battery lifting beam to fit your forklift is the width and thickness of your truck forks,. Our forklift battery changing beams are designed to accept a maximum forks size of 140mm wide x 50mm thick.

How can I ensure the battery lifting beam will be compatible with my battery ?

All our battery lifter beams are made to order, once we have the required dimensions of your battery (weight x length x width x hole centres) we will produce the battery lifter beam to suit.

Is there different styles of battery changing beams ?

Yes, we manufacture three different models of forklift battery lifting beams – an explanation of each model is as follows:

Conventional style – This battery beam is designed for lifting batteries out of forklifts where there are no special requirements such as restricted headroom, spark proofing etc.

Insulated style – This battery lifting beam is similar in design to our Conventional battery lifting beam but has all four slings made from non conductive material.

Restricted Headroom style – This battery changer beam is manufactured slightly different from the other two models in that the four lifting slings are positioned in such a way that the overall length of the slings are reduced. This model of forklift battery beam would be suitable if your forklift truck has restricted headroom when it comes to battery removal.
