For all the towable salt spreaders we supply, we recommend using Dried High Purity White Salt which is to BS 3247 and can come supplied in 25kg bags.

The majority of our salt spreaders for forklift trucks can be used for private roads, carparks, factory premises etc however not for main road usage.
