One of the UK’s leading names in the field of forklift truck attachments has come to the aid of one of its customers in need of a practical solution to a manual handling dilemma. 

 Newtown-based Contact Attachments, a specialist in the manufacture of accessories for the forklift truck industry, recently supplied its innovative forklift tipping skip to Ruskim Seafoods, one of the leading importers and distributors of seafood, meat and poultry across Europe.

 John Wood, General/Transport Manager at Ruskim Seafoods, commented: “In our industry, it is vital that working areas are kept clear of debris, and that we are able to safely and speedily remove rubbish from the warehouse to an appropriate skip or waste container.

 Contact Attachment’s skips have unique twin locks and a simple release mechanism, and all come with pre-drilled castor plates, safety security chains, and heavy duty fork pockets, as standard.  They are also available in a variety of colours to enable effective waste segregation.
